I personally love the way they portray women and continue to energize and excite us to be better and do more, while maintaining that individuality that makes each women unique. This latest video yet again provides a reminder to all of us to Work it out.
“Our challenge is to see beyond the world and invoke new beginnings.”

On the heels of President Obama’s speech last night to congress, he hosted his first lunch for newspeople. I get a feed from a site called mediobistro.com that focuses on media news from various sites. I came across some of the “newspeople”—really news anchor’s blogs—and of course was drawn to Katie Couric’s blog. She calls it Couric & Co. Read the rest of this entry »
On the day after the Oscars—and the completion of another fashion week in New York—I thought it appropriate to provide a review taken from Slate.com written by Josh Patner on where fashion is directed for Fall 2009! Read the rest of this entry »
In a world of technology, creating a safe environment for all children is paramount. Protecting people from those that choose to create opportunities that can lead to danger or cyber bullying, especially in the case of girls, must be prevented. I was reading Slate.com this evening and blaring out at me I saw “Republicans discover twitter”. As a fellow American living in Canada and an ardent follower and supporter of the Presidential elections that just passed, I couldn’t resist clicking on the link to read what this article was about. The media through-out the election chastised John McCain as he was not very computer literate. Whether or not this was or is true is irrelevant. What is true is that the Republican party did not command in any way, shape, or form the use of technology the way Obama did and continues to do. He galvanized his community by organizing them on the world-wide-web—leading a virtual marketing coupe. A community that will share their message over and over and over again. Read the rest of this entry »
I absolutely LOVE today’s post. It is a tribute to the power of social media—believing in what you do and knowing that if you continue to look forward, great ideas that combine creativity, innovation and a set of values that scream quality are worth whatever it takes to get the rest of the world on board. Kogi Korean BBQ is just that business. As the video below will tell you, Mark Manguera started off with the idea of creating a taco truck (a popular street food in LA) and created a Korean BBQ taco. When he started out nobody came, nobody believed—until they tasted the tacos. Now they have lines waiting for blocks just to get one of these tacos. The best part is that by using social media apps such as twitter and facebook, they can send their loyal followers alerts—including info on their latest specials and products—as they spread the word that one of the best places to eat is on the street. “we have seen first hand how difficult it is for women to come forward with their testimony”.
I have spent much of my time on this blog sharing with you all of the articles and information that I have read—with the hope that it will help you better find ways to build one-to-one marketing strategies and channels.
