Social Media May Help YOUR Business in the Downturn!

There are a gazillion articles including my daily weekly posts that talk to the benefit of social media. In the end what you really want to see as you make your assessment is stats. I try not to post too many stats here as I want to encourage the sharing and educational format of learning. And stats (although the “proof is in the pudding“) can sometimes detract from that.

But today I saw some good stats that may help convice just one business that was on the fence—frozen with uncertainty as to how to counter the downturn of this new economy—to choose a side and take action. It is for you that I post these stats today from a research study by Michael Stelzner of Writing White Papers. It gives you a list of the questions marketers are asking (they may just be your questions too). You can find his blog at http://www.writingwhitepapers.com/blog/.

Engagement is the name of the game. It’s cost effective, powerful, and shows your willingness to counter your past marketing efforts and move in a direction that positions you for not for what is happening now, but for what is going to happen in the future!

Please tell Share your success stories as you begin to enter the world of social media!
