    Group Coupons Are the Hot These Days – Are Bargains for Everyone?

    Not sure if you are familiar or not – but there has been a surge of websites pop up with alot of media attention relating to group coupons. The idea behind these sites is that discounts are offered and a specific number of people must take part in purchasing the coupon for it to become active. This takes place via social media and there are several sites that have popped up. Groupon is one of the larger ones Wagjag and LivingSocial.com are others. Groupon has grown from 400 subscribers in 2008 to over 4 million.     We are currently drafting a strategic plan for a consumer goods company and I mentioned just this morning that coupons, in this new economy, are definately worth giving attention. I must note that to some financial savvy people they were always important. Check out the http://www.couponmom.com/. Her site provides coupons for anything and everything that you could think of. Who doesn’t want to honor their almighty dollar by getting the best deal you can for the products and services you need and use?

    Love is Around the corner—Ecommerce tips for Valentines Day

    In two weeks and a couple of days, love will emerge with a barrage of chocolate hearts, kisses and flowers; the colors red and pink will abound in the rush to find that perfect gift (for that perfect someone) with the aim of sweeping your the object of your affection off their feet. I still remember cutting out Valentines cards for everyone in my grade school class and the excitement I felt that night when I went to sleep—knowing that everyone else was doing the same thing as we geared up for the in-class card exchange the next day.
