    Marketers Get Real With Live Content – Video

    The time has arrived where  brands have jumped on the bandwagon  to engage the consumer. In the case of some of the BIG brands, they are now ready to engage their customers in realtime via video. As per comscore media in January 2009, Canada had an online reach of  88%, United Kingdom had an online reach of 81%, Germany had an online reach of 82%, France had an online reach of 82% and the United States had an online reach of 76%. These are definitely numbers worth paying attention to!!!!!!!

    Women work it out!

    Nike continues to lead the way with their innovative visuals through thoughtful and creative videos, imagery and messages—encouraging all of us to be our best selves. I personally love the way they portray women and continue to energize and excite us to be better and do more, while maintaining that individuality that makes each women unique. This latest video yet again provides a reminder to all of us to Work it out.

    I am going to post the link to the article where I found this quote. I think it’s one of the most helpful and insightful articles I have read in quite a while. The title is “Multiscreen Madman” and it’s from the New York Times (yes, one of my favorite sources of information). This article features an interview with Robert Rasmussen, executive creative director of the Nike account at R/GA, AKQA chief creative officer Lars Bastholm and Barbarian Group CEO Benjamin Palmer.
