When I began my education into the world of social media a few years ago, my beacon of expertise and guidence was the book I have spoken of often, “Groundswell”. In the book, Josh Bernoff and Christine Li talk about understanding social computing behaviours in order to be able to engage your target market and connect in a way that is in line with the goals that you plan to reach by implementing a digital strategy.

I am have just finished watching Larry King and yes Larry is now on twitter. His guests were Ashton Kutcher and P Diddy and they were talking about the benefits of twitter and why they tweet. As you all know I write about social media daily - it’s benefits, the interesting people leading the way and why YOU must get on board and engage your community, customers, clients, friends etc.

I am going to post the link to the article where I found this quote. I think it’s one of the most helpful and insightful articles I have read in quite a while. The title is “Multiscreen Madman” and it’s from the New York Times (yes, one of my favorite sources of information). This article features an interview with Robert Rasmussen, executive creative director of the Nike account at R/GA, AKQA chief creative officer Lars Bastholm and Barbarian Group CEO Benjamin Palmer.
